Obituary of Charles LeVern Harris

Charles LeVern Harris,74, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Prisma Health Tuomey. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Arthur Edward Harris, Sr. and Virgie Ruth Evans Harris. Mr. Harris was formerly employed by The Item. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Annette Wallace (Jack) of Sumter and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Goins and a brother, Edward Harris. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday in the Brewington Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
