Obituary of Carl Lee Lyon, Sr.

Carl Lee Lyon, Sr., 55, husband of Monica Ward-Lyon, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Las Vegas, NV, he was a son of the late James C. Lyon and Theresa Barkley Lyon. Mr. Lyon was employed at Eaton Corporation. Surviving along with his wife of Sumter is his mother of Sumter; three sons, Carl Lee Lyon, Jr. (Megan), Jonathan Ward and Samuel Lyon; two daughters, Elizabeth Tilly-Ellen Lyon, and Kimberly Ann Lyon; a brother, Jimmy Lyon; a sister, Christina McLeod (Jason); and four grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday at Christ Community Church with Rev. Mark Yoder officiating. Burial will be held in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Wednesday at Christ Community Church.
