Obituary of Stephanie Reed Evans

Stephanie Cassandra Reed Evans, 61, died Thursday, March 3, 2022. Born in West Point, NY, she was a daughter of Roger Ray Reed, Sr. and the late Estelle Jones Reed. Mrs. Evans was a member of Graham Baptist Church and was self-employed. Stephanie had a natural attraction for all children and dogs and they in turn loved and adored her. Surviving are her father; a son, Donald Evans, Jr.; two brothers, Roger R. Reed, Jr. (Gena) and John K. Reed (Mandy); a sister, Kim R. Davis (Gus); a grandson, Donald (DJ) Evans; a granddaughter, Christine M. Evans; a close uncle, Artie Reed; a special friend, Robert R. Bradley and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the father of her son, Donald Evans, Sr. Memorial Services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, March 10, 2022, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. John Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Kim Davis.
