Steve, Beverly and Family. We were saddened to learn of Ms Carrie's passint, but rejoice in the knowledge that this world was not her home. We enjoyed meeting her some years ago, and she was a fine Christian lady. We pray that each tear that is shed will serve as testimony to the many lives she brought love and joy to. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, even so saith the Spirit, for they must rest from their labors." We miss you both so much and wich we could have been there to share some of these thoughts and prayers with you in person. We are strengthened by the sure knowledge that Ms. Carrie will hear those glad and welcome words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." Love and God's blessings to you and yours.

My deepest condolences to the LeNoir Family. I spent many years going to the store in Horatio and Ms. Carrie taught me a lot about history. My daughters enjoyed going there and talking with Ms. Carrie. I have always cherished the book she gave me, autographed, and now I will pass it on to my children. She will be greatly missed and we will be forever enriched for knowing her. The Lumley Family Sarah and Michael

Ms Carrie lived such an eventful life! She will surely be missed. She was Daddy's (Doug Baker) cousin and we all thought so much of her. I can attest to her 'civic-mindedness' She was one of the founders of the first and only Sumter Chapter of the Alston Wilkes Society in the 1980's. I'll never forget her at the General Store in Horatio and serving as Post Master. My father and his family loved his Cousin Carrie. She will never be forgotten! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Patti Baker Welday, Beth Baker Huggins, Nancy Baker Graybeal, and brother M. Douglas Baker, Jr.
