Obituary of Judy Ann Morris Smith

Judy Ann Morris Smith, 81, widow of the late Fred Rollins Smith, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Turbeville, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Shelton Morris and the late Merle Floyd Morris. Mrs. Smith served as a registered nurse for 53 years and retired from NHC Healthcare. She was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God Church. Surviving are two sons, Shelton Todd Smith and Gregory Alan Smith; two sisters, Shirley Ward and Alma Earline Morris, all of Sumter; three grandchildren, Christopher Rollins Smith, Ashley Nicole Smith and Patrick Martin Smith; five great-grandchildren, Hunter Rollins Smith, Savannah Grace Fisher, Brian Fisher, John Matthew Smith and Baylor James Morris. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
