Obituary of Bunny Wharton

Elizabeth “Bunny” Windham Wharton, 64, wife of Whitfield Carlisle Wharton, III, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at her home. Born in Homestead, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Bobby Windham and Betty Lou Cole Windham. Mrs. Wharton was baptized at Alice Drive Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; three sons, Shane Wharton, Brooks Wharton (Lisa) and Brandon Wharton; two sisters, Cindy Johnston (David) and Lou Ann DuBose; and one granddaughter, Carly Wharton. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
