Obituary of Barbara Barrs Shuler

Barbara Barrs Shuler, 90, widow of Admiral Dewey Shuler, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Morningside of Sumter. Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Marion Clifton Barrs and Ruby Mae Grooms Barrs. Mrs. Shuler was a retired U. S. Customs Inspector. Surviving are two sons, Michael F. Evans and James Eugene Evans both of Columbia; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday at Santee First Baptist Cemetery in Elloree, SC.
