Obituary of Rachel Deanna Ashworth

Rachel Deanna Ashworth, 82, widow of James J. Ashworth, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at home. Born in Roxboro, NC, she was a daughter of the late Sam Ashley and Rachel Dixon Ashley. Mrs. Ashworth was a retired secretary for Designs by Gloria & Pat. Surviving are two sons, Tony D. Ashworth (Doris) and Jason C. Ashworth (Kristie) all of Winnsboro, SC; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Vonnie Joan Brown in July of 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in her honor.
