Obituary of Dennis Ray Webster

Dennis Ray Webster, 76, husband of Dinah Dove Webster, died Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his home in Sumter. Born in Burlington, NC, he was a son of the late Christine Virginia Webster. He was a retired finance manager with Bombardier. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, 1 O/S Bar and Sharpshooters Badge Rifle M-14. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Scott Webster (Kay) of Marion, Marc Webster (Brandy) of Chapin and Jason Webster of Forest Acres; and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
