Obituary of Jewel Darlene Thames

Jewel Darlene Thames, 67, died Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Harry Austin Thames, Sr. and Margaret Anna Taylor Martin. Ms. Thames attended Alice Drive Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Brian Corey Balukin and Ashby William Bradford, IV; two brothers, Harry Austin Thames, II and James “Shotsy” Harvey Martin, III (Jen); three sisters, Ann Thames Watkins (Mike), Toni Cordell Bowman (Tom) and Kelly Cordell Rodgers (Jeff); one grandchild, Austin Trevor Balukin. She was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimbo” Thames. Services will be private.
