Obituary of Michael Lynn Tidwell

Michael Lynn Tidwell, 58, husband of Mona Wray Tidwell died Friday, May 19, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Born January 29, 1965, in Sumter. He was the son of the late Lynn Ray Tidwell and Betty Elizabeth Holliday Prescott. Mr. Tidwell was a former plumber and attended New Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Tidwell is survived by his wife of Rembert; a son, Jonathan Tidwell (Lauren) of Pinewood and a daughter Brianna Tidwell ( Marqis Dennis) of Rembert; five grandchildren, Autumn, Summer, Caty, Kobey, and Spencer. Two sisters; Tara Moye (Jamie Pridgen) and Christy Arrants (Dale); a nephew Chad Arrants (Victoria) and a niece Brittney Moye (Joshua Compton). A celebration of life service will be held 3 P.M, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Kevin Massey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at New Salem Baptist Church, 2500 W.
