Obituary of David Troy Moore

David Troy Moore, 65, husband of Janice Moore, died Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Prisma Health Baptist in Columbia. Born October 8, 1957, in Sumter. He was a son of the late Garland Troy Moore and the late Alta Mae Brown Moore. He was a retired Operator Technician with International Paper. He is survived by his wife of Sumter; two daughters, Tonja G. Johnson of Sumter and Hope G. Wohnig (Randy) of Cayce; 2 grandchildren, Jonna W. Croft (Jamie) of Cayce, Nikki W. Bryant (Charles) of Cayce; a brother John Robert Moore (Linda) and a sister Elizabeth M. Prescott (James) all of Sumter; a great grand-daughter Anna Wray and 5 great grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry James Griffin, Jr., a brother Tommy Franks, and a sister Sue Smith. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
