Obituary of James Thomas Lynch

James Thomas Lynch, 80, widower of Georgianna C. Lynch, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. Born in Waltham, MA, he was a son of the late Arthur H. Lynch and Esther R. Niles Lynch. Mr. Lynch was of the Catholic faith. He retired from Waltham Public Works in Waltham, MA. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Surviving are four sons, Arthur Lynch, Christopher Lynch (Jean), David Lynch (Rachelle), and Matthew Lynch; and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Friday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Waltham, MA.
