I am writing for my father, Sam Pringle. He went to Edmunds high with Dick. He remembers that they played football together there. He was the right halfback and Dick was the left halfback. They also ran into each other at the goal post of a football game when Dick played for Newberry and Sam played for Presbyterian College. They stayed in touch during college years. They also road out to Texas together when their reserve unit got called to Korea. Dad remembers him as a close friend and sends his warm thoughts to his family
Many sweet memories of sitting on the back porch just taking and enjoying the company of you and sweet Aunt Mattie! Our kids will always remember catching lizards and frogs and trips to Swan Lake.
