Obituary of Gerlinde Schafër Brown

Gerlinde Schafër Brown, 90, widow of Kellis G. Brown, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at her home. Born in Bingen, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Franz Joseph Schafër and Josepha Reiber Schafër. Surviving are three daughers, Jean Sherrill (Rick), Pat Thompson (Matt) and Brenda Whitley (Troy); six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends, Friday, August 11, 2023, from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at the home, 15 Big Loop, Pinewood, SC. Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Florence National Cemetery.
