Uncle Rex was sweet, kind and will be missed. I remember asking him if he liked music when he and Aunt Lottie were visiting and he said yes. We found a station that played all Bluegrass. They listened to that Bluegrass station for hours everyday. Such great memories.

Have fond memories of Uncle Rex. I remember visiting him and Aunt Lottie in SC eating her cookies she made while Dad and Uncle Rex talked about their days in the Air Force. Mom and I are saddened but know that he is with Lottie and all of his siblings again. Uncle Rex was a kind and gentle soul. Rest In Peace.

We will miss one of the Finest Veterans of Sumter. Rex was the husband of my sister Lottie. Well they are together again. You never heard Rex say anything ugly about anyone. Sonny and i will miss going over to see him. After Lottie died and he never forgot going to see her grave everyday rain or shine for the last 5 years. That old blue truck want know where to go now. I want to thank Rex Jr. and Roger for being so faithful to their daddy. I pray safe travel for all of the family . Rex had the best garden and shared his good works with us. OMG we miss him already. Sonny and Virginia Brogdon Lottie's sister.
