Obituary of Angel Felipe Colon

Angel Felipe Colon, 70, husband of Mercedes Colon, died Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. He was born in Puerto Rico. Mr. Colon was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-Thomas Sumter Highway Congregation. He was employed as a Social Worker and was a U. S. Army veteran. Surviving is his wife of Wedgefield; two sons, Luis Angel Colon and Jay Colon both of MA; a daughter, Tabatha Marie Colon of MA; a brother, Jusus Colon; a sister, Mary Colon; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and several family friends, Margie Morleas, Martha Maneiro, Cielo Maneiro, and Johnny Maneiro. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-Thomas Sumter Highway Congregation.
