Obituary of Ernie Yates

Ernest Franklin Yates, 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Prisma Health Hospice of The Foothills in Seneca, SC. He was predeceased by his parents, Ansley Lee Yates (Bubba) and Colleen Holland Yates, brother, Charles Ansley Yates, and sister, Caroline Cecelia Yates. He is survived by his sons, Patrick Stephen Yates and Charles Andrew Yates, and his sister Christine (Cricket) Yates Stewart (Craig) and two nieces, a nephew and five first cousins who loved him very much. His family would like to thank the care he received at Herriott’s Residential in Sumter, Oconee Memorial Hospital and Prisma Health Hospice of The Foothills in Seneca for the care and love they gave him. The family will hold a private graveside service on Saturday, December 30, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Clemson Free Clinic, P.O.
