Obituary of Lamar Pack, Jr.

James Lamar “Bubba” Pack, Jr., 76, died Friday, January 5, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, he was a son of Thelma Atkinson Pack and the late James Lamar Pack, Sr. Mr. Pack was a retired Lab Technician and was employed by Dr. Warren Smith for over 30 years. Surviving is his mother; a brother, Marley Gerald Pack; a sister, Alice Faye Pack McLeod all of Sumter; four nieces, Michelle Ardis (Stacy), Chelsea Holliday, Rebekah Pack, and Ravyn Ardis; one nephew, James Pack III, and his sister-in-law, Kathy Pack. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Benjamin Pack. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service.
