Obituary of John Henry Thomas, Jr.

John Henry Thomas, Jr., 75, husband of 47 years to Beverley Roberts Thomas, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at their home after a brief illness. He retired from Sumter School District #2. In addition, to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Sherry Garris (Rod) and his nephew, Clayton Garris. He was predeceased by his only child, Johnna Elizabeth “Babs” Thomas and a brother, Donald Casey Thomas. Special thanks to Kathy Roberts Keith and Lukie Keith for their never-ending love and support. The family wishes to thank Visiting Angels (Lisa) and Tuomey Home Health Care and especially Prisma Tuomey Hospice (Tammy and her team). Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
