Obituary of Dorsey Gail Junkins

Dorsey Gail Junkins, Jr, 74, widower of Lynda Baker Junkins, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, SC. Born at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Dorsey Gail Junkins, Sr. and Christine Lockamy Junkins. Mr. Junkins was a retired teacher at Central Carolina Technical College. Surviving is his son, Robert G. Junkins (Cristi); two grandchildren, Anna Partin (Bryan) and Amber McCrea (Seth); seven great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Ashton, Emberly, Callen, Jaxon, and Oaklynn. Memorial Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Barnette officiating.
