Obituary of Daniel Benjamin Riles

Daniel Benjamin Riles, 66, husband of Cathy Ray Riles, died Saturday, May 4, 2024, at his home. Born, January 28, 1958, in Sumter. He was the son of the late Buster Riles and Irene O’Neal Riles. He retired from Hacquard & Compton Inc. in Sumter. He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Jody Riles(Jessica); a daughter, Christy Riles (Bradley Graham); a brother, Allen Riles; a sister, Rosie McDowell (Randy); and four grandchildren, Brandon Barkley, Austin Riles, Wyatt Graham, and Noah Graham. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7PM Tuesday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
