Obituary of John Dennis "Dennie" Earnhardt

John Dennis “Dennie” Earnhardt, 86, died Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter. Born June 11, 1938, in Huntersville, NC, he was a son of the late Dennis Alexander Earnhardt and Helen Walters Earnhardt. Mr. Earnhardt was a retired produce broker with Leeroy Dewitt Brokerage Company in Pompano Beach, Florida. Surviving is a brother, Mike Earnhardt (Glise); a sister, Carolyn Somheil; nephews Dennie Somheil (Karen), Chris Somheil (Marsha), Michael Earnhardt (Lisa) and niece Eddy Hyder (Brian); and a number of great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mark Barnette officiating.
