I know that Jesus has you in his comforting arms cousin Larry. Years and time may separate us, but I will always remember that mischievous grin of yours. And your big heart. Growing up with you in SC was a privilege and an honor, you always exemplified the best in people cousin, with your kind heart and loving ways. I look forward to seeing you again one day again. We will meet in heaven and both be overjoyed at our new forever home with God. May the Lighthill family be comforted and blessed during this time of sorrow.
Sincerely, Iris “Brown” Mentus

Larry was a very good man, he was a friend to all he knew him and always had a smile. He did his job and did it well, with humor and grace. He was always faithful about attending The American Legion Department of South Carolina Conferences and Conventions, I'm very glad that all of us that were lucky enough to be able to say, he is my friend, were able to spend a little bit of time with him at our Annual Fall Conference in October. Miss you, Buddy.

I didn't know Larry well, as my interactions were through the American Legion Post 15 over the past two years; however, he was always smiling and trying to uplift others who he interacted with. He will be dearly missed and I wish to express my prayers to his family and friends.
