Obituary of Carolyn E. Somheil

Carolyn Earnhardt Somheil, 88, died Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at her home. Born in Huntersville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Alexander Earnhardt and Helen Walters Earnhardt. She was a member of Faith Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and was the retired owner and operator of Sumter Movers, Inc. Surviving are two sons, Dennie Somheil (Karen), Chris Somheil (Marsha); a brother, Mike Earnhardt (Glise); three grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as “Nanaw”, Christopher Somheil (McNair), Mary Margaret Richey (Eric), D. J. Welch; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennie Earnhardt. A private burial will be held in Brazil, Indiana.
