What an amazing man. I have many childhood memories that are filled with him in it. I am picturing him and my father in heaven causing trouble already and laughing it up. Sorry for your loss Al and Laura. I am thinking of you.

Freddie was one of the finest men I've ever known. While I was in college, I worked at Suburban Propane during summers and holidays when I was home. Freddie was a kind and patient guy, quick with a joke and a good listener. I think we both enjoyed our conversations on the job and just being around each other.
I remember some years ago when my Dad and I went to the Wendy's outside Bishopville and ran into Freddie. It was great to see him. He told my Dad something that I'll always treasure, regarding my work ethic. It was something like this: "It didn't matter how dirty or muddy the job, Derek was always the first one down in the hole."
Rest easy and in peace, my friend, you deserve it!

Freddy was a good man, he was so good to my Aunt Kay, and when me and my momma would come to visit he was always fun to be round and talk to, give momma and Aunt Kay a hug for me. Love you!! Missy
