Obituary of Thelma Atkinson Pack

Thelma Atkinson Pack , 97, widow of James Lamar Pack, died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at a local nursing facility.
Born in Elliott, SC, she was a daughter of the late Kirven Dunnie Atkinson and Alice Thigpen Atkinson.
Mrs. Pack was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving is one son, Marley Gerald Pack and one daughter, Alice Faye Pack McLeod both of Sumter; three granddaughters, Michelle Ardis (Stacy), Chelsea Holliday and Rebeka Pack; one grandson, James Pack; one great-granddaughter, Ravyn Ardis; one brother, Advil Atkinson, one sister, Carol Jeffcoat; and a daughter in law, Kathy Pack.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Lamar “Bubba” Pack, Jr. and Donnie Benjamin Pack and brothers, Hoyt Atkinson, Woodrow Atkinson, Kirven Atkinson, Peter Atkinson and Charles Atkinson and sisters, Louise Hoover, Sallie Horner, Jane Goodson, and Mabel Bozard; and a daughter in law, Samantha Holliday.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends following the graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home in memory of Mrs. Pack.
