Sallie Lee Campagnari, 80, wife of Michael Joseph Campagnari, died Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at a local nursing center. Born in Dalzell, she was a daughter of the late Henry Young DuBose and Annie Lee McLaughlin DuBose Harris. Mrs. Campagnari was a member of Bethesda Church of God. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a foster parent for nearly 100 children over her lifetime. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Kenneth David Campagnari (Jan), Gerald Campagnari (Wanda); and Casey Allan Campagnari (Chelsey); a daughter, Michele Francine Strickland (Derek); five grandchildren, Hannah, Joel, Lindsay, Lisa Anne, and Kaylee and three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Waylon, and Alyssa; and her sister-in-law, Rebecca DuBose. She was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Campagnari; a brother, Henry DuBose, Jr. and a sister, Emily Knotts. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Horeb Cemetery in Dalzell with Rev. Al Sims officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Sunday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Bethesda Church of God.
