I’m sorry for the late condolence but I’ve thought of Tillman often and just found out about his passing. He was my supervisor at my first job out of college at the Campbells plant in Chicago. I still remember our conversations every day and how he shaped my career with his advice. I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to Tillman on how he shaped my leadership abilities. He will forever be in my heart and mind. May God bless you and keep you. Brent

Sorry for the late condolence:The second year the cambells -plant was open i went to work in TV Tray.I worked back there for about a year & Tillman was my supervisor.he was the type person that a person that you would want to work for & enjoy the wok, while doing it for him.Tillman earned your respect not demanded it.Everyone like working for him but not his boss John Mc---- .I thought over the years that Tilliman had left the area untill I saw this obituary & had to respond..Over the years I would think of him every now & then & this would make me try to be sure that I was doing my current job correctly. If I had know Tillman was still in the Sumter area,I would have come to see him every now & then.I will miss him & will always cherish my thoughts & the way I treated by a great boss.Inky Davis

I just want express my condolences to you, for your lost, Mr. Rushing was quite a man, my Mother and Mr. Rushing worked together at Campbell Soup, she always had a word for him and I could tell by the work relationship they had it was worth going to work when you had a work enviroment you enjoyed and from what I was told He made that possible. He maybe gone but he will be remembered and I never met Him but the work stories I really enjoyed, be Blessed and know He's with God now.

Lydia, holding you tightly in love and prayers. Our sympathy to all at this time. Will always be thankful for the time we were all able to spend together when you opened your home to Jim and me. Now, who am I to pick on? I'm sure Tilman is smiling broadly. Love. Barbara & Jim
