Obituary of Kumsun Y. Hendrickson

Kumsun Yi Hendrickson, 87, widow of Lawrence Hendrickson, died Monday, August 8, 2016, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born in South Korea, she was a daughter of the late Yun Sun Chi and Bu Yup Lee. Mrs. Hendrickson was a member of the Korean-American Presbyterian Church and she was a retired registered nurse. Surviving are a daughter, Kyongran “Strawberry” Sterling of Sumter; a brother, Shawn Lee of CA; two sisters, Suna Lee of VA and Suna Dorman of MS; and two grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Joshua Jang officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
