Sympathy and condolences to Claire's family! I wished I had known the art connection information..Claire Richards was a member of the Edmund's High School class of 1942 in Sumter which met every few months up until mid 2016 when it merged with the Edmund's High School class reunion that meets monthly in Sumter SC. Claire enjoyed going to her high school class reunions and everyone enjoyed seeing her there. I have enjoyed getting to know all these alumni, I graduated from Sumter high, but drove my mother Margie and stayed for the get together. They are and were charming, and I think it was great that they all kept up with each other and still do. There are fewer of them now. Dr. Probst and many others died in 2016 also. Libba Allen has been wonderful coordinating the get together in the past...she has retired her duties but encourages continued attendance to all class members who are able to go.
