Obituary of Helen G. Parker

Helen Gardner Parker, 93, wife of the late Woodrow W. Parker, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Spotsylvania, VA, a daughter of the late George Bernard and Lena Jane Bogart Gardner, Helen retired as owner from Parker Auto Supply and was a member of First Southern Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald G. Parker (Marianne) of Columbia, and Bruce W. Parker (Cindy) of Sumter; a daughter, Betty Parker Morgan (Mark) of Sumter; three grandchildren, Jennette Willoughby (Wyatt), Wesley Morgan, and Suzanne Dhinoy (Nav); two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Lauren Willoughby; a step-grandchild, Sean Sutton; and two step-great-grandchildren, Michael Allen and Christian Sutton.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters; and a step-granddaughter, Melissa Sutton.
Memorial services will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Reverend Ellison Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, at 117 Adams Ave.
