We have been out of town since last Friday. Our computer (laptop) was on the blink so didn't know about Johnny's death until last night when we got the Laptop back. Please accept our heartfelt condolence for you and your family. We will be coming home Friday (25th) and would very much like to see you at your convenience. In the mean time we will keep you in our thoughts . Johnny was a fine man. Kelly paid his dad one of the nicest compliments one day when we were chatting about something. Kelly said " Dad doesn't say bad things about people" I thought that was just a beautiful thing for a son to say about his Father

I treasure having shared many enjoyable times with Johnny at Riverside Hunting Club. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but look forward to joining him one day, when my time comes. My prayers are going out to all the family, and friends. We will miss this wonderful friend. Rest in peace my friend!

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Jackson. As a teenager, I hung around with his sons Jay and Kelly. Visits to his home were always a very enjoyable time at the Mill Pond. He gave me the privilege of enjoying one of the greatest duck hunts that I ever participated in over at the hunt club. His love for the outdoors truly has inspired many. I served in the military with Kelly his son. I served on the Presbyterian Youth Council with his son Jay. My prays are with His family during this time. The Low Country will truly miss this Great Man and the small things he did for all

My condolences to Suzanne and family. I have fond memories as a youngster living next door to the Jacksons in the late 1940' and early 50's. We played "war" with our cap guns and pea shooters all day sometimes. Eventually, Johnny got too old for it; but he kept an eye out for us anyhow. Also I remember the visits to Fernandina Beach, especially the one after Jay was born. I know Johnny was a terrific father. The years have taken their toll, but the memories live on. God bless you all.
