May Jehovah God comfort you during this time of loss. Though there may be little that can be said or done to ease your pain, may you find comfort in knowing that many care and sympathize with your sadness. Always know that Jehovah God is with you to strengthen and guide you. May your trust in his promise of a resurrection bring you peace. – Acts 24:15

To the Crisler family, It was deeply saddening to learn of Joe's passing this past weekend. I was flooded with immediate memories of good times with Joe. Much of it centered around his ability to make me laugh and keep a smile on my face. Joe had a knack for doing that unlike anyone else. More importantly, Joe was a good friend back in our glory days of competitive swimming as we traveled from meet to meet. Always there, always smiling, always goofing, always cracking us up. Those swimming memories have always stayed with me. Joe was a special part of that. He'll never be forgotten by any of us that dedicated our time to our sport. He made it more fun. He made it better. I'll miss you, Joe. Thanks for being my friend. Thanks for the memories I'll never forget.

Dear Crisler Family, I am so devastated and sad to hear of Joe's passing. He was in OT school one year behind me at MUSC and I was so proud to hear what a great OT and hand therapist he turned out to be. I had physical therapy this summer and I am so glad I got to speak to him in passing a few times. He will be missed by so many. My sincere condolences, Michele Moses

I taught at CSHS during the time the Crisler boys were in school. In reading FB today, I saw the sad news about Jack. My heart is touched deeply with your loss. Jack was a handsome young man; he was so well-mannered, respectable, and kind. Obviously, his parents contributed to his fine upbringing. My heart goes out to each of you at this time of grief. May God comfort you and wrap his arms around you for peace. With love, Judith Gibbs
