Mrs Parker was the first residence I met when my mother joined them over 5 years ago. Our first day there
my sister and I were walking down the hall and Mrs Parker would always be seated in her doorway. I'll
never forget the first words she said- Getting old ain't for wusses! It caught me by surprise but I turned and
spoke. She would always have me kneel down so she could see me and always ask who I was there to visit.
She had a great sense of humor and no sweeter lady would you want to meet. It has been my privilege to
have known her and she will be missed.
