Obituary of Nancy Lawlis Pace

Nancy Lawlis Pace, 77, wife of Adlia Stevenson “Steve” Pace, Jr., died Thursday, July 27, 2017, at McElveen Manor.

 

Born in Greensboro, NC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Lawlis and Isa Peace Lawlis.

 

Mrs. Pace was a member of Faith ARP Church and the Mothers of Angels.  She was a retired licensed practical nurse for Dr. Lee Denny.

 

Surviving are her husband of Sumter; a son, Steve Pace III of Boone, NC; two daughters, Carol Annette Pace of Sumter and Tami Pace Eleftheriou of Bluffton; two sisters, Molly Foss of Faison, NC and Pat Ford of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Rae Pace.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas S. Timmons officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
