Elinor Gillmeister Phillips, 88, wife of Chester Everett Phillips, died Friday, November 24, 2017, at Covenant Place.

Born in Deutsch-Krone, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Johannes Gillmeister and Adelheid Jeske Gillmeister.

She is survived by her husband of Sumter.

She was predeceased by her son, Steve Phillips

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
