Monnett Jordan, 74, died April 27, 2018 at her home in Dalzell.

 

Born in Andalusia, AL, she was a daughter of Ora Mae Powell Jordan and Carter Albert Jordan.

 

She was a retired security officer for Pinkerton Security Co.

 

Surviving are a son James D. “Rusty” Douglas (Jerry); daughters Janice Houk and Rosa Lee Lowe (Edward); brothers Johnny Jordan (Barbara); James Jordan (Melinda); Ray Jordan (Louise); 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death her parents; daughters Brenda Outlaw and Gail Moore; brothers Charles Jordan and Levonne Jordan; sisters Evelyn Day, Jean Johnson and Marie Jordan; and a great-great-granddaughter Julia Ann Corliss.

 

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Tuesday with a private memorial beginning at 6 PM at 110 Executive Circle, Dalzell.
