Obituary of Donald J. Rogers

Dalzell, S. C. Donald J. Rogers, 79, widower of Miyoshi Kurashima Rogers, died Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Lewis Rogers and the late Edith Ledingham Rogers. Mr. Rogers retired from the United States Air Force and later retired from Central Carolina Technical College. Surviving are a sister, Ginger Poutous of Elcajon, CA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Dr. David Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
