Obituary of Ruby Eppard

Ruby Ella Ann King Eppard, 77, wife of Garry H. Eppard, died Monday, January 21, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey.

 

Born in Campton, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John King and Mildred Banks King.

 

Mrs. Eppard was a retired clerk at the Shaw Air Force Base Golf Course.

 

Surviving are her husband of Sumter; a son, John Fye of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Tara Eppard of Weyers Cave, VA; a brother, Jack King (Vickie) of Franklin, OH, four sisters, Peg Miller (Randy) of Gratis, OH, Brenda Nickells of Mt. Sterling, KY, Paulette Bryant, Campton, KY, Wanda Collinsworth (Bob) of Mt. Sterling, KY, brother-in-law, Dickie Easterling of Mt. Sterling, KY; seven grandchildren, Robert A. Hillman and fiancé Denesha Moye,  Kristen Fye, Amanda Fye, Brittany Taylor Watts, Brittany Morgan Watts, Brandon Eppard and Brianna Eppard; two great-grandchildren, Desrianna Hillman and Cory James Watts.

 

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Hillman; grandson, Cory Fye; sister, Bonnie Easterling; daughter-in-law, Dolanne Fye; and son-in-law, Robert S. Hillman.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday at the Sumter Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
