When a family member or a close friend dies, our pain and grief can be unbearable. We feel helpless, but the bible gives us real comfort here at: (2 Cor. 1:3,4; "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Tender Mercies and the God of all Comfort, who comforts us in all our trials. ) This prophecy tells us that even though we go through things that breaks our heart, we do have someone to go to turn to give us the comfort needed to make it through whatever it is that we are facing and his name is Jehovah God.
