William C. “W.C. Billy” McClam, 68, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at home.  

 

Born in Sumter, he was a son of Louise Poston McClam and the late Pearlie McClam.

 

Mr. McClam was formerly employed by Suburban Propane Company.

 

Surviving are his mother of Sumter; two daughters, Michelle McClam of Charleston and Denise “Neeci” McClam of Summerville; two sisters, W. Diane Coker (Sammy) and Gail Hardin (Bob) all of Sumter and two grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra McClam.

 

Graveside Services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Robbie Hardin officiating.

 

The family will receive friends following the services and other times at the home, 3680 Barkley Rd.
