Obituary of Manning Moses Geddings
Manning Moses “Toogie” Geddings, 85, died Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Gardens of Sumter.
Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Altomont Moses Geddings and Grace Osteen Geddings.
He was a former member of the U. S. Army and Army National Guard and was retired from Korn Industries. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.
Surviving are his daughter, Sherry G. Elliott (Larry) of Sumter; two sons, Billy Geddings (Ellen) of Sumter and Chipper Geddings (Sheila) of Roebuck; a sister, Helen Geddings (John) of Sumter;
8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Greg Pressley officiating.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
