Obituary of Jean Burns Wallace

Jean Burns Wallace, 87, widow of Staten Wallace, died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Covenant Place.

 

Born in Greensboro, N.C. she was a daughter of the late Marion Burns, Jr. and Minnie Koester Hunt Burns.

 

Surviving are three children, John C. Gregory, Delores Hollen and Colleen Vincent (Thad); nine grandchildren, Jennifer Hollen, Catherine Hinson (Tyler), Lindsay Hollen, Thad Vincent (Lara), Jason Vincent (Jessamie), Laurie Reid (Matt), Billy Ferguson (Laura), Kenny Gregory (Breanna), Ashley Surles (Daniel); and six great-grandchildren.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
