Obituary of Mary Roberts

Mary Fairlane “Penny” Still Roberts, 75, wife of Bill M. Roberts, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

 

Born in Blacksville, SC she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Richburg Still.  

She was a retired accountant with Green’s Insurance and Tax Service.

 

In addition to her husband of Sumter, she is survived by 2 daughters, Billi Brazell (Kevin) of Lugoff and Bobbi Jean Rodman (Mark) of Sumter; 1 brother, David Still of Manning; 3 sisters, Linda Brewer of Sumter, Beverly Gregersen of Dalzell and Ricki Brown of Maryland; 5 grandchildren, Joseph Catoe (Colleen), Jessica Catoe, Brittany Hallman, Katherine Hallman and Charleigh Rodman; 2 great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Birch and a son-in-law, James Catoe.

 

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Monday in the Chapel at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetery.
