Virginia Ruth Lineberger Welch, 84, widow of Charles Welch, died Monday, June 3, 2019, at Sumter Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Gastonia, NC, she was a daughter of the late Russell Lineberger and Addie Thornberg Lineberger.
Surviving are a son, Gary Armstrong of VA; a daughter, Karen Hudson of Sumter; two sisters, Cloteen Rogers and Betty Smith both of NC; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and her dear friend and caregiver, Faye McFarland of Sumter.
Services will be private.
