Obituary of Martha Lou Adams

Mrs. Martha Lou Latimer Adams was born December 13, 1922 in Shaw, MS and passed away on May 17, 2019. 

 

She was the daughter of the late David Hugh Latimer and Louise Breeding Latimer. 

 

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Ruth Crozier of Huntsville, AL; her son, James Roy Adams (her daughter in-law “Tootie” Adams) of Rembert, SC; her grandchildren, Madeline Lofton, Rachel Broadhead, Pharalyn Crozier, David Adams, and several great grandchildren.

 

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Holy Comforter Anglican Church.

 

The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at the church Parish Hall.  

 

Mrs. Adams will be interred at a later date with her parents in Shaw, MS. 

           

The family would like to thank Covenant Place for taking loving care of Mrs. Adams. 

 

Memorials may be made to Holy Comforter Anglican Church, 213 N. Main Street, Sumter, SC 29150; Christ Community Church, 320 Loring Mill Rd, Sumter, SC 29150; or to a charity of one’s choosing.
