Obituary of Linda Sue Coughtry

Linda Sue Coughtry, 50, wife of David Lee Coughtry, died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her home.

 

Born in Sandusky, OH, she was a daughter of Andrew Kocis and Joyce Stahl Guay.

 

Mrs. Coughtry attended Alice Drive Baptist Church.

 

Surviving are her husband of Sumter; her father of Aiken, SC; her mother and stepfather, Wayne Guay of Bowling Green, KY; a son, Eric Pawlicki of Swansboro, NC; a brother, Robert Kocis of Ayer, MA; one nephew, Michael Houck-Kocis; one niece, Alexis Kocis.

 

She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Jodi Kocis and a sister-in-law, Cyndi Kocis.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. David Richardson officiating.

 

The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 11 AM Monday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home prior to the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local veteran’s charity of one’s choice.
