Kelly was one of the most loving people you could ever meet. She cared for and loved all of us. I will always remember sharing stories and laughs with Kelly. We knew each other for 12 years and I can honestly say from day 1 she welcomed me with a smile. Teaching was one of her passions. She was someone you could run to if you needed a good book to teach a lesson or a different approach to teach a skill. This week we had my baby shower and I received a book that I placed on my registry solely because of Kelly's recommendation. I know you are always with us. With Friday quickly approaching I can only hear my friend saying in her upbeat cheerful voice "HAPPY FRIDAY EVE". These are a few of the memories I will hold close to my heart and cherish for the rest of my lifetime. Until we meet again sweet friend.

To those responsible for the memorial video, thank you.
Kelly obviously had her intelligently perplexed countenance from an early age.
It was my privilege to teach alongside K for at least a decade and then to encounter her somewhat regularly for quite a few years afterwards.
Your generous sharing of glimpses from her life before Lemira is priceless and will help us recover from her early departure.
I hope it is helpful for you to know that many others share your loss.

So sorry to hear of Kelly's passing. I remember her being one of my most favorite Sunday school teachers at First Presbyterian Church and she was always so funny and kind. She possessed contagious laughter and was full of joy! I hope there is some level of comfort in knowing that her joy is now complete in heaven. My condolences to all family and friends as you grieve this unexpected and difficult loss.

The Lemira Elementary School family was blessed to have this angel shine her light and share her love for seventeen years. Kelly was dedicated to teaching children. Students will remember the many stories and books she read throughout each day. There is not a word to describe how kind she was to all she met. She had a heart of gold and was a true servant of Jesus Christ. My life has been blessed having her as an angel on earth and now in heaven.

Please know that Kelly was one of the kindest individuals I have known in my life. I will forever be grateful to God for allowing our paths to crossed. Her friendship was indeed a blessing to me. Kelly knew the true meaning of this earthly life. We are here to serve and to love. It was only fitting that she left this earth for our Father doing just that.
All my love.
Carletha

We have known Kelly and her family since her birth and are deeply saddened by her untimely passing. A wonderful young lady who exemplified the qualities of Christian character in all that she did. When I baptized her in 1971 at the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin I considered it one of the great priveleges of ministry. Her family always lived with humility and Christian service. We share her loss and pray God's blessings for her family and friends. Kelly, you were truly a light for goodness in an otherwise dark world. You will be missed. Dr. Larry & Susan Dunster

Prayers for all who feel this loss. Praying gentle tender comfort. I will never forget our talks as we always ran into each other eating hot wings or buying office supplies. I also treasure moments we shared in studies we were in.

Enjoyed taking many classes with Kelly over the last few years. Was always impressed with how much she wanted to learn so she could share it with her students. She was truly an asset to the Sumter School District and always a friend to others.
