Obituary of Otto Griffin

Otto “Son” Griffin, 81, husband of Cathy Anderson Griffin, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his home. Born in Sumter he was a son of the late George Washington Griffin and Sally Emma Turner Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God, a U.S. Army Korean veteran and was a retired carpenter. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; two step-sons, Jamie Hill (Kim) and William Hill (Melissa); two grandchildren, Zachary and Christopher Hill; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Green Acres Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church and other times at the home.
